*** This page is safe for viewing at work, but following any links on it will likely result in a truck load of boobies splashing across your monitor. ***
A few days back I was catching up on my web surfing when I stopped by the xFanz MySpace page. I wanted to see if they had posted any new videos to YouTube from the 2007 AEE (Adult Entertainment Expo) that went down between January 11th and 13th in Vegas. Well, when clicking on any of the YouTube vids on that page I got the “This video is no longer available” message.
At this point you might be thinking: “No shit Sherlock, of course YouTube deleted a bunch of obscene videos uploaded by some porn site. What did you expect?”
There’s a couple of problems with that train of thought though…
1. xFanz isn’t really a porn site. It’s a mix of adult entertainment news, social networking, porn movie reviews, and blogs. It’s a far cry from being safe for work, but in-your-face-boobage isn’t their thing. More info about them can be found in the xFanz Wikipedia article.
2. The videos they produce are anything but obscene. Thus far, they’ve all been little clips from conventions, interviews, behind the scenes on sets, etc. And, any of them that happen to have boobies in them don’t get posted to their YouTube channel.
Already knowing the above I was left thinking…
- Ain’t this just great. First, the IMDB fiasco from a few weeks back when they decided to bury all the adult titles and stars. Now, we’ve got YouTube alienating the adult industry. Do these guys need to be reminded that the Internet is for porn?!?!11
- YouTube has that whole “This video may contain content that is inappropriate for some users, as flagged by YouTube’s user community. To view this video, please verify you are 18 or older by logging in or signing up.” thing going on. So, why in the hell would the xFanz videos not just be flagged instead of deleted.
- YouTube is a property of Google now and Google is pretty adult industry friendly. Sure, they did that goofy thing with their SERPs a few months back when porn sites weren’t showing up for porn related search queries, but they quickly came to their senses and changed things back to the way they were. As long as Google will sell text ads to your industry, you can rest assured that they don’t hate you. And, they rake in tons of dough from the porn industry.
- Did some boobage make it into an xFanz video I’ve yet to see??? Did some boob who works for xFanz upload said video to their YouTube channel? Should I take the time to put some egg rolls in the oven or just slap ‘em in the microwave?
I had to investigate…
After eating my soggy egg rolls (damn you microwave!), I shot a message over to my buddy Alan; who’s the HNIC (Head Nerd In Charge) over at xFanz, asking what was up with this. He said that he didn’t have a clue as to why YouTube VaPooRized all their videos and he had yet to hear back from them after inquiring about it.
So, I started looking at some of the videos posted on xFanz from the AEE. Lo and behold, I think I saw an Areola and blurry nipple popping out of some chicks xFanz shirt in the intro they added to some of those videos. Looked more like a painted-on shirt though. Guess they just didn’t paint over one of her nipples.
I sent Alan back a message saying something along the lines of:
“I can’t really tell for sure, but… It looks like some boobage in the intro being used on some of those vids. Whoever made that intro needs to be kicked in the nuts. If it was you, that really sucks. Self nut kicking isn’t any fun at all.”
Not long after sending him that message, I ran across the profile of one of the chicks who worked the floor for xFanz at AEE. She has a pic on her page of herself in her xFanz AEE attire. And, it was in fact painted-on shirts they were wearing - with FLESH COLORED PASTIES.
The bottom line is that I believe the title of this entry to be true. Sure, the xFanz crew screwed up big time by posting what can easily be interpreted as a Janet Jackson Super Bowl moment. And, the fact that it’s really just a flesh colored pastie isn’t a good excuse. An adult entertainment channel on YouTube with a bunch of videos on it being arbitrarily deleted without warning sends a clear message though. I won’t be surprised at all if they do an “adult content” clean up that makes that IMDB fiasco look like child’s play.
And, I’m just guessing that it was based on what looks like a couple seconds of boobage in a few videos. If that’s the case, I demand that they also remove this African tribe boobage. Hey, exposed boobies are just as natural at a porn convention as they are in Africa.
Well, besides the ones filled with silicone or saline.

Lolo, I’m the one who deserves the nut-kick for the Janet Jackson moment in that opening montage. Point very well taken — and thanks for the great analysis!!! :))
Well I dont think it is a bad thing, my kids get on to you tube and I think its better for them to take it off because people are too slack….I watch things on there too…I think this is a great idea…but if you want porn then goto a porn store or peep show…I dont want my kids accidently getting an eye full because these people made a booboo…boobs!!
Re: Bob
Ouch… Alan looks like he has big feet. ;-)
Re: Sarah
Watch the video I linked to. If you have cable TV your kids have already seen a lot worse. And, with YouTube’s flagging system your kids wouldn’t be able to see the vids unless they lied about their age / wanted to see them. They wouldn’t accidentally get hit in the eyes with any boobs. Well, unless they watch that “Crazy and entertaining roadtrip to the tribes in Africa” video.
Haha… I watched the African one… I don’t know what scared me more… The exposed boobs or the guy saying, “It’s only white skin, it’s soft isn’t it?” LOL
Sportsheets beat you. You Tube banned their instructional (fully clothed) videos the 2nd day they were up. Adult industry yes but this was geared towards how couples could improve positioning and try new sensations. There was nothing obscene about it- it was about bettering relationships.
This country is so divided on everything these days. That is what this is all about. The bible thumpers VS The booty humpers and so on and so fourth and theengs like Dis… Exposed boobs = very bad. Murder and carnage = ratings & fear, very ok…
The hard thing is that its YouTubes right to shut down any profile that is in violation of their TOS (Terms of service) but there are things on the site that are x10 more sexual than Nina Hartley talking about her new book or Stand-Up Comedy… Its more shocking that they let people getting hanged and fighting up, but we cant show people dancing at a party. Weird world…
OMG! A BOOB!
When I was in the 4th grade, I saw my first Playboy. Naked women showed up in my life more and more. To humanity, its like the opposite of entropy, ever increasing in frequency. Once, while shortcutting to school behind a shopping centers when I was 14, I came across huge caches of porn someone had dumped. I then became the porn king in my hs for the rest of that year. My gym locker was the central library for my peers. We were all thankful for the most likely about-to-get-married guy who was clearing out the goods before wifey moved in.
I wish the nation would just get over it!

Read My Lips: No Free Ads.
I’ll bet dollars to pesos that youtube/google tried to charge them an ad fee and were turned down. Hence, no pr*n for you and me….kind of makes you wonder who’s paying youtube to host their ads, don’t it?
Looking at the pic, I think it’s little bandaids on the boobies to coverthem up.
Maybe this is a time for PornoTube to step up to the plate. I just found the place recently, but maybe they can do industry news as well as teaser vids and amateur stuff.
i want join you.
Ive noticed a spawn of these porn video web sites lately - xhamster, ibestporn, timtube, etc. etc.
It’s crazy that these are the norm now. I bet their bandwidth costs are mind boggling ;-)
