Spoof Cho Comments On Virginia Tech Shooting Victim’s MySpace Blog

April 18th, 2007 LoLo

There’s a huge difference between harmless internet trolling (which some retards consider art) and being a senseless, heartless, steaming pile of shit to people who are grieving. I just got a message on MySpace from my buddy Chelly about the latter…

I’ve emailed customer service before, and they seem unwilling/unable to care/do anything. whatever… i sent them an email earlier today, but i doubt they even read it.

i looked up one of the victims of monday’s massacre, and in her blog comments, found two posts i just couldn’t believe. yeah “freedom of speech” is great, and all that, but some things are just *morally* wrong.

any ideas? i just can’t stand the thought that this girl’s family might log in and see those comments. Here u go, check ‘em for yourself:

*Links removed (no sense in pointing other retards in that direction)

On the first page of comments some idiot posted the below 300 poster spoof over and over again from a throw-away account:

Cho Seung-Hui 300 Spoof

On the second page is where it got really screwed up. The below comments were posted by a spoof Cho Seung-Hui MySpace account:

Spoof Cho Seung-Hui Comment on MySpace - 1

This second one got posted while I was writing this:
Spoof Cho Seung-Hui Comment on MySpace - 2

After seeing that BS, I sent the below email over to abuse@myspace.com:

Virginia Shooting victim’s blog comments…

are being attacked by some trolls.

[urls removed again]

Towards the bottom of the first page you have some idiot who posted an
image over and over again from a throw-away account.

The second page has a “i’m in ur classroom, blowing ur head off”
comment from a spoof Cho (the shooter) profile.

Please yank this stuff down ASAP before the family sees it.

- LoLo
GhettoWebmaster.com
BurntPickle.com
etc…

Within 30 minutes, the Spoof Cho account (friendID=114151781) and that throw-away account (friendID=181459333) were deleted and the comments were removed. If any law enforcement can dream up a charge for this, feel free to subpoena MySpace for the IPs that logged into those accounts. They keep login IPs for a couple months – even if a profile has been deleted. $20 says the retards didn’t use a proxy. Subpoena MySpace for login IP + Subpoena ISP for customer info = some punk ass coward(s) being outed.

I’d go on and on with a lame rant about how screwed up this is, but…

what’s understood, don’t need no explaining ~ Milton (Snow) Anderson.

    thank you for reporting that.
such a tragedy is made more tragic by the compassionless people who remain somehow unaffected.
they should get in trouble but they probably won’t.
    thank you nonetheless.

To be without compassion is one thing. You can be compassionless and not make a scene about it.

What this douche bag (or few… seems like it could have been two different profiles) did goes beyond being apathetic: this is deriving pleasure from others’ pain and misfortune. I would totally support the forced sterilization of people who do these sorts of things if it weren’t in the Bill of Rights to not be able to do so legally, but we do need to keep our response to scum like this civil.

  3. April 19th, 2007 at 09:09 | #3

Wow…just wow. The fact that a couple of jackasses would stoop so low as to creating fake profiles of Cho, spamming mourn threads, creating fake movie poster spoofs, etc., is just sickening. These people are treating this tragedy as a joke. They act like they could care less about what just happened in our country. It’s not right. It’s just not right.

Completely disgusting… can’t believe someone would do that… thankfully we have you to police this shit and get rid of it…

Anonymity is the troll’s armor. Take it away from him and expose him for the attention starved maggot he is. Let this ass explain himself on camera in front of the whole world so they can ridicule and embarass him in front of his family, friends, and co-workers (if he has any). People choose their words more carefully when there is the possibility that they may have to eat them.

Now I understand some people use humor to get past horrible events…but this just steps over the line…

Sickening. Disgusting and I hope the person who did that gets herpies. Trolls seem to pull this shit when someone dies. They did this shit when Dale Earnhardt died. It is not cool. Lack of respect for the dead and people affected by it. They think they are so big and bad they can post stuff. When really they are probably more troubled then the shooter himself.

  8. April 19th, 2007 at 13:49 | #8

What a bunch of assholes. Cho, Harris and Klebold were a bunch of pussies that couldn’t handle basic social situations, not folk heroes. I don’t know if it’s Emo music or they have better drugs now but this generation is turning out to be a pack of retards. I hope these guys posting that garbage were dumb enough to use their real IP’s and can be prosecuted for “Terroristic Threats”. It’ll serve them right.

Free speech; sick but free and certainly not nor should be illegal! I may disagree with the disgusting, but I would fight to the death for their rights to be disgusting! The alternative is un-American.

    Re: Jimbo

This goes beyond “Free Speech”. You’re thinking about that fairy tale free speech that lets you threaten lives and run around buildings yelling fire.

  11. April 19th, 2007 at 15:42 | #11

This guy has no heart or soul and should be thrown in jail, better yet give him over to the grieving family.

  12. Chris
    April 19th, 2007 at 15:44 | #12

No. Whether or not we like it, or find it offensive, it’s still satire. It’s obviously some 4channer /b/tard getting some sick laughs, but there’s nothing illegal about it. Trying to silence him/her just because we “don’t like it” is wholly un-American.

We all have the right to free expression. I’m not defending the person, per se, or saying the VT shootings were hilarious. You might be able to make a case for what this person did qualifying as ‘hate speech’ and thus being unprotected speech, but just reactionary censorship because we’re lashing out against something that is painful to us, or that we don’t like, is unconstitutional and un-American. Honestly, for someone with a background in the porn industry (which I totally have nothing against mind you) you’re awfully quick to ignore the First Amendment when it suits you.

  16. Chris
    April 19th, 2007 at 16:11 | #16

And honestly, saying the person should rot in hell or be ‘put out of his misery’, and all the other angry, reactionary comments I’ve seen, are just as bad as what this person did. Should we censor all of your comments because they can be misconstrued as imminent threats of violence, thus unprotected hate speech?

We all want our freedoms and rights as Americans, but we’re so quick to deny them to others when it suits us. =/

HAHAHAHAHA, just kidding, I think this 300 spoof was funny… just glad to see how I can rustle up the neighborhood by saying some bull oppinion that makes no sense.

    EDIT by the real LoLo:
Real cute douche. Kinda neat to get the first fake LoLo comment in my blog though. I guess I’m going to have to turn the comments off for this entry before this gets too retarded.

What exactly would you accomplish by subpoeaning (sp?) the people?

    April 19th, 2007 at 18:24 | #22

Wow, this thread went way downhill. Free speech is one thing, everyone should have the right to say what they feel, I agree with that 100%…but with that privilege (it is a privilege…try saying whatever you like in Afghanistan & see what happens…yup) should come responsibility. What happened to basic respect and decency? We live in the greatest country in the world, yet we continue to make its’ people look like immature little children by acting this way. If it were YOUR family member that got killed you people might look at things a little differently.

    April 19th, 2007 at 19:12 | #23

Okay, I will agree on the fact that said troll was completely insensitive and a horrid jerk, but WHY do you always want to have troublemakers on myspace arrested for what they do? Yes he’s a piece of shit for exploiting a tragedy, but you and I both know he didn’t break any laws. There are no laws against being an ass fucker on myspace.

    April 19th, 2007 at 19:19 | #24

Free speech my X, we don’t have free speech on other people’s web sites, get real. This is harassment of the victim’s family, plain and simple. x:)

    Re: Chris
I’m not exactly a “if the law says it’s right, it’s right” kinda guy.

“I’ll never be a person who fully walks a straight line legally because it’s my belief that U.S. laws are grossly overbearing on individuals rights. I don’t believe in screwing over or taking advantage of people though. I’m a different person now, period.”

And, I actually support a dumbass being able to preach BS all day long – like Daniel S. who I’ve become oddly fond of. There’s lines that shouldn’t be crossed when you’re not preaching from YOUR pulpit though. I could give a shit less if a thousand spoof movie posters and Cho MySpace pages are made. It’s in poor taste, but none of my business. When someone brings that to the doorstep of someone else’s space, I call BS.

    Re: Jon
Reread the paragraph that starts with “If any law enforcement can dream up a charge for this”

    Re: Daniel
I can think of a couple laws that could be stretched to cover this, but I don’t really care if the fucktard gets arrested. I’d just like him to have to explain to his family and friends WTF he was thinking when he posted that shit.
P.S. You do realise that you live in the USA right? If they want you to go to jail, you don’t pass Go. Unless you have a shit load of money or the media is heavily covering your case.

  26. daniels
    April 19th, 2007 at 19:49 | #26

We already know you have the ability to wrongly stretch the logic of the law to cover whatever you want it to cover lolo. We don’t have to have another debate to figure that one out. I personally find what he did to be of horrid taste and subhuman. But simply getting him deleted is good enough.

  27. LoLo

“We already know you have the ability to wrongly stretch the logic of the law to cover whatever you want it to cover lolo. We don’t have to have another debate to figure that one out.”

I’m still LOLing at your retardedness on that issue. We’ll catch up on that debate later though. I’ve got bigger titties to suck right now. Some douche just screwed a bunch of webmasters out of insane amounts of money and a porn site was hacked on Easter Sunday in the name of Allah. Seriously.

  28. daniels
    April 19th, 2007 at 19:59 | #28

    Allah porn?

    That’s hot right there…

By the way, I quit myspace because I’m sick of that little narcing fucking having me deleted every five seconds for breathing.

  29. LoLo
    April 19th, 2007 at 20:05 | #29

Not Allah Porn. They gained access to my friend’s media servers and deleted over 7500 videos as an act of Jihad. Long story, it’ll be posted fairly soon.

Yeah, I saw that the never ending comment section died.

/all of this is off topic though… I’m going to go ahead and close the comments before this gets stoopid.
